macbook-power-buttonIt can happen sometimes that your MacBook doesn't power on at all.
No need to stress, it's probably not broken.
It just needs the System Management Controller (SMC) to be reset.

  Here's how to do it:

  1. macbook_does_not_power_onDisconnect the AC Adapter and remove the computer's battery.

  2. Press and hold down the power button for at least 5 seconds and then release the button.

  3. Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
Press the Power button to start the computer.

If all went well, your MacBook is running schmooth again.
