Use separators in your Dock under OS X Leopard.
mail this to a friend
The Dock in OS X Leopard has a new feature that i really like.
You can create separators inside your Dock for a more organized overview of the items inside it.
That way you can make little groups of Apps that are somehow related to your workflow.
Here is a nice example of it:
Leopard Dock with seperators.

Well, if you like it, here is how to do it.
Open up the Terminal application terminal.png which you can find in the Utilities folder.
Now paste in the following command:

This will create a Dock seperator, You can repeat this step for as many separators as you need.
At this point you won't see any separators in your Dock yet, to see the separators you will have to restart your Dock.
To do so paste this into terminal and hit enter.
(Please mind the capital "D" in Dock)

You will see your separators appear on the right site now.
Just drag them to where you want them and you're done.
