Share your Macbook wireless connection with another computer through ethernet.

Sometimes you're in the situtation where the only internet access available is through wireless.
Of course that's not a problem for your Macbook.
However maybe you also want to give another device without wifi such as maybe a pda, sip voip phone, or another computer or laptop Mac or PC access to that same connection.
It may seem like a big problem, but it's actually quite easy to achieve with your Macbook.

Here is how:

Open the "System Preferences" (click on the apple symbol in the top left corner of your screen and click "System Preferences".)
Click on the "Sharing" icon"

Now go to the "Internet" tab.

Set "Share you connection from:" to Airport, and check the box where it says "Built-in Ethernet".
Now it's time to connect the other device via an ethernet cable.
It doesn't matter if you have a normal network cable or a so called cross-over network cable, your macbook will autocorrect for this.
Good luck!
