A lot of websites still have movies and streams in a windows media format.
It attempts to op those files in the windows media player (if installed) or they don't open at all.

I find that quite anoying, however there is an easy solution to that.

Download and install flip4mac and the movies will playback in your browser just like a quicktime file would.
