pong.png Another simple but great game which uses the built-in suddon motion sensor of your Macbook.
Now you can play pong on your Macbook and control the "racket" by tilting it.
If your friend has a Macbook too you can play against eachother over the network, no configuration needed.

Check your spelling in multiple languages.

multilingual spelling check.pngIf you like me have to write emails and documents in more than one language you may find that the OS X spelling checker underlines all words that are written in another language than your main language.
There is an easy way to overcome this, as Mac OS X can check the spelling of multiple languages simultaneously.






In any application that supports spelling check do the following:
  • Select from the top menu Edit->Spelling and Grammar->Show Spelling and Grammar or press [][:] on your keyboard.
  • Then just change the selected language in the drop down menu to "multilingual".
That's it, enjoy!
 
Keep your Macbook awake!

caffeine.png Caffeine is a small application that puts an icon in the right side of your menu bar.
Click it to prevent your Mac from automatically going to sleep, dimming the screen or starting screen savers.
Really nice when you're watching online video so you don't have to touch the trackpad every few minutes to undim the screen.

What if your Macbook won't stop talking.

Apple Menu VoiceoverEver had the experience when your Macbook keeps on talking and all your menu items appear double like this?

Great chance you accidently enabled Voiceover for your Mac.
You can press [] [F5] and Voiceover will be disabled, Your Macbook will shut-up again and menu's will apear normal.

If you like to re-enable Voiceover press [fn] [] [F5]
